Helloes again!
I am noticing that the WinAMP plugin player doesn't show all the instrument names, only the first 17 or so. I wrote a lot of text in those instrument names, but only those first 17 lines are showing. Not anything major, but kinda annoying.
Is this possible to be fixed?

Does the song have more than 17 instruments? Instrument names are only saved for which there is a corresponding instrument (this is the same right back to AHX v1).

Hmm... why? To save space?
I wouldn't mind if it saved all samp names in HVL tunes as it's nice to write messages there..

Yes, to save space. In order to save the names of instruments, there has to be a corresponding instrument, so it would waste a lot of bytes.

Oh.. so it's not possible to write long messages like in Protracker? Dang, I wrote lots of text and all is gone? Siigh. Oh well, gotta make some default instru to lots of slots next time I compose a song so I can write as long messages as I want, heh..

AHX and Hively can have much longer instrument names, though, so there is that way to get more messages in there.
