hello ppl,
finally I finished working on some tunes :) lol, I'm a newbie at trackers so please don't expect too much ! I'm still learning ... I should learn how to use effects and stuff ... I still don't know what the extra two numbers mean in the track list editor (transpose one octave ? time to RTFM)

THX dudes ! (and THX AHX :))
I made a stupid little prod with my tunes, also with sources from planet hively ...

is it ok to use hivelyreplayer routine for prods ? (I guess so but just to make sure ...)
I'm also planning to make a similar thing for the Amiga 68k. I know there's no HVL replayer for 68k yet, but there is an AHX replayer right ? |

There is an HVL replayer for 68k (see the download section), but it requires an 040 or 060, whereas there is an AHX replayer for 68000 :-)
Oh, and yes, its fine to do whatever you like with the HVL replayer. AHX forever! |

oops, sorry. what is your OS ? can it be something like vista problem or different version of SDL ?
I used 1.2.13 library.

coze: your tunes show promise, and are pretty neat for first-timer tracking person. Though musically thinking they are a bit simplistic and could benefit from chords/chord-type-arpeggios and perhaps a bit faster tempo. Well, I found some of them a bit dull as they are so slow :) .. but it might be more my fault than yours.
Damn, I wish I could make some Hively/AHX tunes myself, it's frustrating to have a strong desire to do something, yet cannot do it.. someone give me energy and inspiration pleeze :)
So I guess what I am saying, I envy you, Coze.. btw, did you create the instruments/sounds yourself? As I find some instrus pretty kewl actually. Oh, and contrary to what someone said here, you do not need EFFECTS to make good music!

source ? :) are you sure ? of course you can have it but right now it's pretty a mess (I was experimenting on some polygon fill and more interesting stuff like that) I'll make it available once I clean it up.
Monk, thank you very much for the comments. I didn't create any sounds, all songs are zapped from tunes which came with hively. (pilgrim - karma, cats - spots ? epic - I'm not sure). By the way, are you this monk by chance ?

coze: Your gratitude is received and appreciated. And well, I guess I must admit I am that same Monk.. although I hate being associated with that csdb.. (they refused to remove me from there although I asked - they actually got ANGRY about my request! So I guess the c64-scene is all about control..)
