hello everyone, i just got started here and i'm an extreme noob to this tracker thing.... but i've always been a fan of this type of music. the more i listen to it on my wii homebrew, the more i want to make the music myself. now i've tried several times to "get started" running these programs, but truthfully i need some assistance on where to start. first off, exactly what type of emulator do i need to run the tracker program smoothly(on windows)? as well as what is the reccommended one to use? i know there's something i'm probably not doing, but any input would be greatly appreciated. i really want to get down to composing with this program. could there be a step by step guide somewhere in the internet? thanks! |

Sorry for the late reply. At some point I hope there will be a detailed how-to, but right now if you're not familiar with Amigas, its really not that easy to use HivelyTracker.
First thing I would do is try and find some WinUAE tutorials for setting up an emulated Workbench environment, or buy Amiga Forever. AHX forever! |

it comes with the icarus aros distribution. you could try that
http://www.vmwaros.org/
alternatively, you could run the hosted aros version on linux
http://aros.sourceforge.net/download.php
or using classic amiga emulator, you could run amikit
