If I understand correctly, the Hively replayer is based on the official, but buggy, C++ port of the AHX replayer. Over time the AHX playback bugs have been fixed, for example I can see that the code for fineslide up/down changed in 1.8. That means AHX files sound more correct in 1.8 than in 1.7, but what about HVL files created with 1.7? Won't they sound wrong in 1.8 if they used fineslide? |

Hmmmmmm... probably!
Same thing can be said about the filter fixes. Earlier versions of Hively would have a "whistling" with high command value. |

You are entirely correct, but I don't think it is a big problem because there arent many hvl tunes yet, so I hope we've fixed the biggest bugs already. AHX forever! |
