Hey all.
I love Hivelytracker and all it's possibilities .. But I am encountering an odd side effect. I have no idea what causes it. It's like a crackly effect, like distortion.
You can hear it at http://www.monk.jossain.com/HVL.crackly
I hope someone can enlighten me about what is causing it and why, so I can avoid it in the future.
Thanks!
Sincerely,
- Monk
p.s. I accidentally put a wrong email in my first attempt to register with nick Monk .. (I added a 'nospam' word in the email add) so I had to log in with this nick in order to get this message across. Anyways, I would be glad if someone could remove the 'Monk' so I could rather use that than this nick. Thanks again. |

Heh yeps, thanks spotUP! Now it works actually. The next problem would be to try to come up with a nice song actually, hehe.

Monk - remember to click autogain again *after* adding new channels and *after* entering notes in those channels but *before* saving to .hvl - the plugins and commandline players will play back the distorted sound unless the gain's been fixed. I always click it last thing before saving, or whenever I adjust a song's stereo spread (though this probably doesn't have any effect...theraputic, perhaps). http://syphus.untergrund.net |

I suggest you have a good read of the "mixing notes" section of the documentation.
BTW, I deleted your first account so you can rename yourself now. AHX forever! |
