Are you using the UAE AHI driver, or just Paula emulation?

I just tried it under UAE here, and wow.. yeah thats a lot of lag. I guess its something to do with how the UAE AHI driver is implimented. Hopefully it'll be fixed in a future UAE or so.

Using E-UAE on linux, I guesstimate a 50ms lag between pressing a key and hearing the note played. That's using standard E-UAE (not the real-time audio version). |
