Using WinUAE in Windows or UAE in Linux will give you much more success than a port probably would, and because that's the recommended option, I'd be very surprised if somebody embarked on a full, from-scratch port of Hively for x86.

There are no plans to port hively outside of Amiga operating systems.
AHX forever!

I know I have a600 and I love it.Imagine - notebook AHX tracking...I know there are emulators but I don´t like emulators...And why not?PC is shit. You can buy it everywhere and it is portable (a600 is too but I don´t have ups+mini lcd...)

Second reason -> there is no serious chip-tracker for that PC shit.

2 stupid dogs rules...

Chip-Music on PC for many people means only one thing - small size. But hey, if you use a Scandoubler you can heave a lcd screen for amiga - think pink :D

"Second reason -> there is no serious chip-tracker for that PC shit."

Very funny.. Either you're being sarcastic or you haven't bothered to research the subject. The PC has several fantastic chip-trackers, my favorites being:

GoatTracker Create SID tunes using either a real SID, or the ReSID emulator (which is very good by the way). Then export them to play on a real C64!

FamiTracker Create Nintendo NSF tunes using an emulation of the NES/Famicom sound system. Then export them to play on a real Nintendo!.

I personally prefer GoatTracker - it's text-mode interface doesn't look like much, but once you start using it you realise that it's really quite good, and I love the sound of the SID - even when emulated with ReSID :D

Delta you don't understand what Matej wrote - "I don't like emulators" :D

Only dedicatet chip-tracker, who not emulate C64 or whutever is a Dreamstation. Please check - www.dreamstation.de It's commercial, but cost is only 50e...

It seems to me that Matez was refering to UAE and the likes when he stated that he doesn't like emulators.

Neither GoatTracker nor FamiTracker are emulators. Although GoatTracker has the option of using a SID chip emulation library, you don't have to and can in fact use it with the real thing. That meets my definition of a chiptracker, DreamStation however does not. I had a quick look at its web page and it claims to be an analogue synth simulator..

Does a HardSid sound card with some tracker is still emulation, or not ? Hard question, don't ya think :D
Back to the Dreamstation. It's brilliant anyway, check a demo songs made by Vibrants :D

I don't think it's a hard question:) In a C64, voltage goes into a SID chip and audio voltage comes out. In a HardSID, voltage goes into a SID chip and audio voltage comes out. In my Sidstation, voltage goes into the SID chip, audio voltage comes out. Whether I use one of many C64 software trackers, Goattracker or a non-tracker sequencing package, I've still got non-emulated hardware audio from an original chip.
